Your own API key
Knowli sends your images directly to OpenAI using your own API key. There is no Knowli server, no proxy, and no storage on our end — the request goes from your device to OpenAI and nowhere else.
On-device storage
All study sets, flashcards, and source files are stored locally using Core Data and the app's sandboxed Documents folder. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud service or synced externally.
