1. Who we are
benavo is an independent app studio operated by Elias Frehner, based in Switzerland. This policy applies to all apps published under the benavo name and to this website (benavo.ch).
2. Our approach to data
We believe your data is yours. Every benavo app stores data locally on your device and never transmits it off your phone or tablet — no cloud, no servers, no exceptions.
We store only what's essential for each app to work. We never store data to build advertising profiles, sell to third parties, or improve engagement metrics. If we don't need it for the app to function, we don't ask for it.
3. What we store
We store only the data necessary for each app to work — nothing more. This might be your game settings, study cards, life scores, contact information, or whatever you create in the app. The exact data depends on what each app does.
If you want to know exactly what data we store for your account, or want to see or delete your data, just email us. We'll tell you everything.
4. Payments
In-app purchases (one-time unlocks) are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive, access, or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs all transactions.
5. Analytics and tracking
Zero analytics. Zero ad networks. Zero SDKs collecting data about your behavior. We have no idea how many people use our apps, when they use them, or what they do inside them. We don't want to know.
6. Website (benavo.ch)
This website contains no cookies, tracking scripts, or analytics. We don't use Google Analytics, Segment, Mixpanel, or any other tracking service. Your visit leaves no trace.
7. Third-party services
Our apps do not integrate with advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers. The only external service we use is OpenAI's API (in KNOWLI for vision processing), and only when you explicitly ask it to process something.
8. Your rights
Since all data is stored on your device, you control everything. Delete the app, your data is gone. Restore from backup, your data comes back. No accounts, no "data deletion requests" — it's already yours.
9. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll update the date above. If we ever store data differently (e.g., adding cloud backup), we'll notify you through App Store release notes before any app update enables that.
